KID'S LEGGINGS WORKSHOP
£30 Level 1
Two hour workshop teaching pattern tracing, cutting and sewing, and you get a pair of custom sized leggings to take home!
Equipment use, patterns and thread included. Fabric will be available to purchase for an extra cost or you are able to bring your own.
APPLIQUE WORKSHOP
£30 Level 3
Two hour workshop teaching how to prepare, design, create and sew applique. This workshop is aimed at competent sewists who are confident in handling the fabrics they would like to attach. Full haberdashery and fabrics are included in the cost of this workshop.
ZIP WORKSHOP
£30 Level 2
Two hour workshop teaching how to change the foot on your sewing machine, how to accurately pin a zip in place, how to baste and sew a zip between a main fabric and lining, when and how to sew over zip teeth, how to top stitch a zip, how to add a zip to stretchy fabrics. This workshop is aimed at enthusiastic sewists who are comfortable in handling woven fabrics and threading a sewing machine. Full haberdashery (including zips) are included in the cost of this workshop but you will be required to bring fabric.
YOUNG STITCHERS
£30 Level 1
Two hour workshop aimed at young children (aged six plus), all fabric and haberdashery is provided. Themes and projects change throughout the year.
Please send your young stitchers with a drink and a snack. Parents are welcome to stay on site or leave, if a parent wishes to participate, two tickets will be required.
TEEN STITCHERS
£30 Level 1
Two hour workshop aimed at young children (aged twelve plus), all fabric and haberdashery is provided. Themes and projects change throughout the year.
Please send your teen stitchers with a drink and a snack. Parents are welcome to stay on site or leave, if a parent wishes to participate, two tickets will be required.
MEASURING AND GRADING WORKSHOP
£30 Level 2
Two hour workshop teaching how to get a perfectly sized garment! We will cover how to measure all bodies, which measurements are important in which projects and how to adapt various patterns to fit. We will discuss one generic top and one generic bottom pattern. If you wish to grade a specific pattern, please bring it with you.
No sewing will take place during this workshop.
FABRIC AND HABERDASHERY
£5 to £20
Full use of the haberdashery is included in the workshop costs, including use of sewing machines, thread, scissors and zips (where applicable).
Fabric is charged at £7.50 per half metre but is always optional and I will give detailed instructions to support you buying your own beforehand. Organic fabric is available at £9 per half metre.
GIFT VOUCHERS
£10 to £160
Gift vouchers are available in any financial denomination up to the full six week course cost (£160) and are accepted as payment towards any workshop, course or fabric purchase.
